Who would be the audience for your media product?

The main spec for my target audience is male 14-20, but it could also be read my females aswell and ofcourse people older and younger than my specified age. I decided on this because there arent many magazines which give what mine does for the age selected. There are not many magazines out there that satisfy the music needs and information that mine does which is why it is a great opportunity. Another reason that i have chosen to focus my magazine more on males is because it makes me feel more included in the creation and design process of the mag.

These 'Tribes' are like groups that the youth tent do devide themselfs into and the 4 above are the ones that would be my main audience for my magazine. A mix of all 4 would be the perfect audience because they would be smartly dressed with a good fashion sence but then like to go out and have fun and socialise at clubs with there friends on weekends etc.

Among other things, fashion and clothing is one of the main things that could be sold in my magazine and advertised because it would suit perfectly to my audience. The clothing would have to be qutie fashionable and by all means good labels such as Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss, Apposed to something like Superdry or H&M. Another thing that could be advertised and featured in my magazine would me music gig adveritsement and news or private music showings. To go with the clothing, aftershaves are also a very good example of products for my magazine.
